My daily layout looked fine until I compared it to 6 months ago
I was flipping through my old bullet journal last night and noticed a huge difference. Back in March I was cramming everything into one messy daily log with no structure, now I use a simple 3-section daily spread. The change came after I watched a YouTube video from a guy in Portland who showed his weekly setup. Has anyone else gone back and been shocked by how much your system evolved?

That thing about it feeling like homework really hits home for me... I tried a super clean 3-section layout after watching that same Portland guy's video and it lasted maybe two weeks before I abandoned it completely. The pressure to fill in each box felt wrong, like I was doing chores instead of planning my day. Now I'm back to a single messy block with arrows and scribbles everywhere, and I actually look forward to opening my journal again. The highlighters thing is genius too, I started using a yellow one for urgent tasks and blue for notes, keeps it a little organized without the rigid structure. Sometimes the chaos just works better for how my brain processes stuff...

I actually went back to the messier method on purpose. That super structured 3-section spread felt like homework, so now I just throw everything into one block and color code it with highlighters. Way less pressure to keep up with it.
