My boss told me to always double check the tack strip before the final stretch

He said a loose nail can ruin a whole room in a year. Sure enough, a job I rushed in January just came back with a ripple because I skipped that step. Anyone else have a simple check they never skip now?

Yeah, that's exactly what @dakota_miller93 means. I run my hand over every single seam with a metal rule now, feeling for any tiny bump before the final pass. It adds maybe two minutes, but it saves a call back every time.
