Serious question, glue-down vs. stretch-in for commercial spaces
I just read a trade article that said over 60% of commercial failures are from improper stretch-in installation. I've always preferred stretch-in for easier repairs, but that stat makes me second-guess. What's your go-to method for a big office job?

That 60% failure rate is wild... but honestly I've seen some truly terrible stretch-in jobs where corners pop up after a month. My go-to is still stretch-in for offices because you can swap a damaged tile without tearing up the whole area. The trick is finding an installer who actually knows how to use a power stretcher, not just kick it around the edges. I'd rather pay a bit more for a crew that does it right than deal with glue-down seams lifting later.

My buddy's office carpet looked like a relief map after their cheap stretch-in job failed.

Yeah, @riley_gibson19 is right, it's that cheap contractor mindset everywhere now.
