Finally got a check from that one client who ghosted me for 90 days
It was just sitting in my mailbox this morning, no email, nothing. The $1,850 cleared after I sent that final notice letter last week. Anyone else have a client who just silently pays up after radio silence?

Sending a certified letter finally got mine to pay up too.

My old landlord ignored two regular letters last year. The certified one got signed for and I had a check a week later. That green card proof makes a real difference in court.

Ever think about what happens when they just ignore the certified letter? My cousin sent one and the company still ghosted her. She had to file in small claims court anyway, which made the whole certified letter step feel like a waste of time and postage. It only works if the person on the other end actually cares about getting that green card back.
