Line cook at my new spot in Austin quit mid shift over a $4 mistake on a ticket
Last month I watched our saute cook walk out at 7:40 on a Friday because the expo sent back a salmon that had been rung in wrong by the server. He had been on a 9 hour shift with no break and that one ticket was just the last thing. How do you all handle it when a ticket error gets dumped on the cook instead of the person who rang it in?

Nine hours with no break is bad enough, but $4 on top of it? I did a 10 hour shift at a pizza place once and walked out with $6 in tips after they took out for the "tip pool." Pretty sure the manager's cousin got most of it.
