Just hit my 100th creosote fire cleanup this season

That's 100 houses where someone almost lost everything because they skipped a year of sweeping. How often do you guys see repeat offenders who still don't learn?

Damn that's wild! 100 houses is insane, man. I swear some people just do not get it until they smell smoke themselves. I had a guy last year who I cleaned for three years straight, then he skipped a year. Next thing I know his neighbor calls me because his roof was on fire. He literally told me "I thought one year wouldn't hurt" while standing in front of his burned up chimney. Some folks act like chimney fires are a myth or something until it happens to them.
