Three years ago in Boise, I switched to a 12-inch poly brush for every flue under 10x10 and never looked back. Anyone still using wire?

Heard a story from a buddy who was still using wire on a tight 8x8 clay liner. Watched him fight with it for an hour, scraping but leaving a ton of glazed creosote in the corners. Lent him my old 10 inch poly brush just to try. He called me the next day, completely sold, said it cleaned flues he thought were a lost cause.

Our 8-inch poly brush changed everything for our old farmhouse chimneys.

Wire brushes just don't get the corners clean on those smaller flues. The poly fills the whole space and gets it done in one pass. Switched my whole crew over after seeing the difference.
