A small change in how I present options made a big difference

Three years ago, I would just email a client a list of design choices. Last month, I started making a simple one-page PDF for a project in Austin, showing three clear paths with a picture and a short note for each. The client picked one in a day, no extra questions. I did it again last week and got the same fast approval. Has anyone else found a better way to show choices without making it too complex?

Honestly, is a one-page PDF that big of a deal? I get what @fionamurphy is asking about the time, because making a pretty page can take longer than just typing a list. Tbh, if your work is good, clients will pick from a simple email. I've sent three bullet points in a normal message and had it approved just as fast. Sometimes we overthink this stuff.

What software did you use to make the PDF? Was it something quick like Canva or did you have to build it in a more complex design program? I'm trying to picture the actual work involved because a one-pager sounds great but I always get stuck on the time it takes to make it look good.

Actually find it saves time in the long run.
