The plant shop in Austin that flipped my onboarding process
Walked into a nursery off South Congress that hands every buyer a care sheet with a photo of their exact plant on it, and now I send every new client a screenshot of their own dashboard before our first call, has anyone else tried this kind of visual handoff?

and honestly that plant shop just figured out something most businesses still miss, people remember what they see way better than what they hear. i've noticed it with everything from car repairs to doctor visits, when someone hands you a photo or a simple drawing of the problem, you suddenly feel like you're in the loop instead of just trusting a stranger's word. the dashboard screenshot idea sounds like the same trick, and if it makes your clients feel half as grounded as that care sheet made me feel, it's probably worth keeping.

Start treating every meeting like it needs a picture attached. Whether it's a screenshot, a photo of the plant, or a quick sketch on a napkin, the visual does the heavy lifting. Once you make that a habit, clients stop asking "what did you mean" and start nodding along.
