Chaos usually leads to more problems than it solves. Those rare clicks are too few to justify the mess. Constant disorder makes projects hard to manage and demotivates everyone involved. A good plan prevents most issues from the beginning and keeps things on track. Waiting for things to line up is just hoping for luck, which isn't a solid strategy. In the end, the stress from chaos isn't worth the occasional win.
