Honestly, kids see through all the extra nonsense in a heartbeat. The real trick is just starting with plain HTML and only adding what actually breaks. Everyone flexing their fancy tools is just doing extra homework nobody asked for.

Started 12 kids on raw HTML and a notepad ten years back. @ward.diana, the simple ones still build the best sites today, no question.
