Hot take: pour over is way overrated for most people
Last month I went to a fancy coffee spot in Austin that only does pour over. Paid $8 for a cup that took 6 minutes to make. Honestly my $20 Mr. Coffee machine with pre-ground beans tastes just as good to me. Am I just not fancy enough to taste the difference?

But honestly the whole point is the ritual and slowness (kinda meditative).

Tbh the only meditative thing about it is trying not to spill the beans on my keyboard while I'm slowly stirring. Ngl I'm more zen about not burning my tongue at this point.
