Floppies vs trades - I still pick single issues every time
Went to my LCS last Wednesday. Guy next to me was buying 3 trades. Said he never buys singles anymore. Waits 6 months for the collection. I get it. Cheaper. But I like the weekly ritual. The cliffhanger waiting. That flimsy paper feel. Trades are neat and tidy. Single issues are messy and alive. Am I the only one who still prefers the hunt every Wednesday?

Does that mean I'm the weirdo standing at the counter with a stack of floppies every Wednesday? I get why people go trades, it's cheaper and you get the whole story at once. But there's something fun about reading a comic on the bus and having to wait a month for the next part, even if it drives me crazy.
