I was sure the new 'Nightwing' writer was going to ruin the book, but the first three issues completely won me over with how they handled his voice.
What's a comic run you were totally wrong about at first?

Totally get that feeling about being wrong. Happened to me with Tom King's Mister Miracle. Saw the first issue and thought it was way too slow and weird. Stuck with it and it completely changed my mind. It's like judging a whole meal by the first bite. I've learned to give creative teams more room now. Our snap judgments are usually way off.

Snap judgments being way off is my specialty. I once thought a whole run was trash after one issue, then ate my words hard. @shane_morgan gets it, we're all just guessing at first.

Yeah, judging a whole meal by the first bite, like shane_morgan said, is so true for comics. I see this everywhere now, like when people ditch a new TV show after one episode. Giving things a real chance before deciding is a habit I'm trying to build.
