My drysuit inflator valve froze solid during a 30-foot dive off Cape Cod last Tuesday
Had to abort the job and swim up slow with one hand on the inflator hose, anyone else had a sudden equipment failure like that while underwater?

oh man that's terrifying, a frozen inflator at 30 feet sounds like a nightmare. i can't believe you had to keep one hand on the hose the whole way up, that's so sketchy. like what happens if the other hand slips or you need to equalize? you're lucky you didn't get tangled or panic. feels like one of those things they never warn you about in the training videos.
