My bull float handle snapped clean off on a Tuesday pour

It happened right in the middle of a 30 yard driveway job in Bakersfield last week. The weld gave out and the head went flying into the wet concrete. I had to grab a backup magnesium float from the truck to finish the pass before it set up. Anyone got a good brand for a solid one-piece handle that won't do that?

Big deal, just a broken tool.

Tell Daniel to try finishing a pour like Miles Chen did with a busted float.

A broken tool in the middle of a pour is a huge deal.

Oh perfect, a tool exploding mid-pour, just what you need. Nothing like fishing a float head out of wet concrete to make your day better. Daniel's never had a weld fail at the worst possible second, clearly. My old boss used to say a broken handle on a Tuesday pour is a special kind of bad luck. You finish that pass with your teeth gritted the whole time.
