Kinda thought they’d be easier to handle, but the sealing process is a total pain. You really need a perfectionist’s touch to avoid a weird or sticky finish. Guess I get why pros charge so much now.

Actually I think you're overstating how hard it is. That sticky finish usually means you just rushed it and didn't let things dry between coats. It's not about being perfect, it's about following the basic steps. Most people get a decent result if they just read the instructions and take their time. The pros are fast, but the skill part is way overblown.

Actually it's not as tough as it seems once you get the hang of it. The key is more about patience than being a perfectionist. After a couple tries it just becomes routine.
