Tried that chemtrail water collection test I saw on YouTube

I got a clean glass pan, set it out in my backyard in Tucson for 4 hours during a heavy plane traffic day. Scraped the residue that collected and it looked like regular dust and pollen under a cheap microscope. Not saying the theory is dead, but my backyard experiment gave me nothing suspicious. Has anyone else actually tried collecting samples themselves?

Read somewhere that actual atmospheric scientists collect those samples all the time and it always comes back as dust, pollen, and regular air pollution. There was this one university study out of Nevada that tested rain water and found nothing but normal stuff in it. The heavy metals people mention are usually from like industrial pollution or cars, not some secret spray program. Honestly the whole thing sounds like people scared of jet contrails mixed with bad internet info.

That Nevada study you're talking about @adam414 actually got referenced a lot when I was looking into this stuff a few years back. I remember feeling kind of embarrassed because I had fallen for some of those chemtrail videos on YouTube before I saw the real data. It's tough to admit when you've been wrong about something, especially when the people pushing it are so confident. I really appreciate you bringing up actual science instead of just repeating what everyone else says. More people need to hear this kind of grounded take before they get lost in all that fear-based stuff online.

Funny you mention that Nevada study @adam414, my buddy Mark actually went to school out there and told me a story about it. He said his professor was the one who ran that rain water project and apparently they got calls from chemtrail believers for months after it came out. People kept insisting they must have missed something or that the university was in on the cover up. Mark said the professor just laughed it off and kept teaching like normal. He showed me some of the emails his professor got and it was wild how confident people were about something they clearly didn't understand. That's the thing with this conspiracy stuff, once someone decides they know the truth, actual science just gets dismissed.
