Pro tip: I thought those laser distance meters were just a gimmick for big crews.
My buddy let me borrow his for a kitchen remodel in Phoenix last week, and I measured a 20 foot wall in under 3 seconds from one spot. I was still pulling out my tape when he was done with the whole room. What other small tools have you guys found that save way more time than you expected?

Honestly, I had the same shock with a good stud finder. Tbh I used to just knock on the wall and guess for years, which was a total mess. Borrowed a fancy one from my neighbor that shows wiring and pipes too, not just wood. Ngl, it felt like cheating, but I hung every cabinet in my place in one afternoon without a single bad hole. That little beep just saves so much stress.
