Update: A casual meetup flipped my view on working alone

I always figured I did my best work solo at home without any distractions. Then I tagged along to a freelancer breakfast at a nearby coworking spot just to be social. I wound up partnering with a photographer on a job that week because we hit it off. Now I see how showing up in person can lead to real work connections.

I started forcing myself to work from a coffee shop every Thursday. Met my last two clients just by being a regular face there. Showing up is half the battle.
