Warning: People keep posting their digital art at like 72 DPI and it looks awful on my screen
Honestly, I see it all the time in this showcase, where someone's cool character design looks super pixelated and soft. I downloaded a piece last week just to check, and sure enough, the file was tiny and set for web. How are you guys not checking your export settings before you post your work for everyone to see?

Oh man, that's so true! I've seen amazing sketches get posted that look like someone smeared vaseline on my screen. It's a total shame because you can tell the artist spent hours on the line work and shading, but all that detail just melts into a fuzzy blob. It makes me want to yell at my monitor, "Show me the pixels!" Always double check that export, folks. Your art deserves to be seen sharp and clear!

Blurry mess" is exactly right. I used to think it didn't matter until I saw my own art on a friend's tablet.

Used to just hit export without a second thought. Then saw my own work on a good monitor and it looked like a blurry mess. Now I always check the DPI and image size before uploading. That crisp linework deserves to be seen properly.
