Serious question about follow up emails after a killer week
I had a week last March where I landed 3 new clients in 5 days, which is unheard of for me. I sent out this one template that just asked a simple question like 'still thinking about that proposal from Tuesday?' and it worked crazy well. Has anyone else noticed a certain phrase or timing that just clicks better than others?

That simple question works because it feels like a natural check in, not a hard sell. People get overwhelmed with proposals, so a gentle nudge cuts through the noise. Timing wise, I've had the best luck with Tuesdays and Thursdays around 10 am local time... seems like folks are settled in but not slammed yet. The key is keeping it short and direct, like you're just reminding a friend. Also, never send a follow up the same day you sent the proposal... that just feels pushy. Give it at least 24 hours, maybe two days, then try that exact phrasing.

Three clients in five days is impressive, and that question is such a low pressure way to check in. @emma_jones, I'm curious about something you said with the Tuesdays and Thursdays timing. Do you ever tweak that based on what industry the client is in, or is that schedule pretty universal for you? For example, I had a real estate guy who only ever replied late at night, so I started sending follow ups around 8pm his time and got way better results. What's your take on adjusting the timing for different types of people versus sticking to a set schedule?
