Had a client ghost me after a 6 month web design project last Tuesday

Spent Tuesday morning sending the final files and invoice for a $3,200 Shopify build, and by 5 PM the client's email bounced back and their phone number was disconnected. I checked their social media and the account was deleted too, like they just evaporated. How do you even chase someone down when they pull a full digital vanishing act?

$3,200 is a lot but they probably owed more to other people too. I'd check if the domain name or business registration was ever tied to a physical address or LLC filing. Sometimes people nuke their online presence but forget about the paper trail with the Secretary of State's office or a registered agent service. If they had a business license or permits you might have something to work with. Could also check if the website host still has the account on file even after the client deleted their socials.
