Can we talk about how long it took me to fix a sticky extraction machine

I have a HydraFacial machine that kept leaving residue on people's skin after treatments. Spent a good 2 hours taking apart the handpiece and cleaning every little tube. Turns out the filter in the waste canister was clogged with gunk. Whole process took me 4 hours before I figured out the real problem. Anyone else run into a similar delay with their equipment?

oh man, the waste canister filter is always the sneaky culprit. i mean, you spend forever fussing with the handpiece and the lines thinking it's a clog in the tubing, but that little filter just sits there getting gross. i've had to do a full deep clean on my machine more times than i'd like to admit, and now i just swap that filter out every month whether it looks dirty or not. it's a pain to get to on some models too, like you practically have to take the whole base apart just to pop it out. saves so much headache in the long run though, once you know where to look first.

Swapping filters monthly feels like overkill, honestly.

Nah, monthly filter swaps are overkill? Hard disagree. That little sucker clogs up way faster than you think.
