My sewing machine needle snapped right through a thick wool blend last night
I was working on a coat pattern with a heavy fabric from a store in Chicago. The needle broke with a loud pop and left a small hole in the material. I had to unpick the seam, swap to a denim needle, and start that section over. Has anyone else found a good needle type for really dense winter fabrics?
