Spent $80 on a vintage sewing pattern lot from eBay and it paid off
I grabbed a bundle of 1950s dress patterns for a side project, and one of them turned into a custom order that covered the whole cost plus some. The other patterns are sitting in a drawer now, but that one win changed my mind about buying bulk lots. Anyone else had luck flipping vintage patterns or am I just getting lucky?

Got a similar lot a few years back for forty bucks and flipped three of the patterns for sixty each on Etsy. Some of those old 1940s housedress patterns are absolute gold if you know how to market them right. It's a gamble but when it hits it really hits.

@victor651 absolutely nailed it with the 1940s housedress patterns. I grabbed a bundle of 1950s apron patterns at a garage sale for fifteen bucks last summer, sold one of the rare floral print ones for forty five on Etsy within a week. The key is checking the condition of the envelopes and making sure the sizing charts are still readable because vintage patterns with missing pieces are tough to move. That whole lot flipped for over two hundred in the end between Etsy and a local vintage shop.

Heard someone say those 50s apron patterns are getting harder to find in good shape.
