Appreciation post: A landscaper in Boise changed how I think about post holes
He said 'You're not just digging a hole, you're building a foundation for the next twenty years.' That hit different coming from someone who sees the long-term results. Anyone else have a simple quote that stuck with them?

Totally get that. My grandpa used to say you're not fixing a fence, you're keeping the peace with your neighbors for a decade.

What if a fence is just a wall with good PR? It marks a line and says "stay out" more than it says hello. Sometimes keeping the peace just means keeping your distance.
