Just caught myself using the wrong size driver on a whole run of gate hinges
Honestly, I was stripping screws for a solid hour in the Texas heat before my helper pointed out I was using a 2 instead of a 3. Anyone else ever make a simple tool mistake that cost you a ton of time?

Wait, isn't a number 2 driver for Phillips screws and a number 3 is for bigger ones like on hinges? I mean, I've done the opposite before, trying to force a 3 into a small screw head and just chewing it up. It's crazy how such a tiny difference on the tool can mess up your whole day. You just get in a rhythm and don't even look.

It's like that with so many small things. Using the wrong charger cable that fits but charges slow, or a slightly dull kitchen knife that makes chopping vegetables a fight. The right tool for the job is a real thing, but it's easy to grab what's close and waste time fighting it. Makes you wonder what other tiny mismatches are slowing us down every day without noticing.

Wait, you were stripping screws for an hour and didn't notice? @kim_davis is right about the rhythm thing, but that's next level.
