Why I stopped touring houses before getting pre-approved
My first weekend looking at homes I toured 8 places only to find out later I couldn't afford any of them at my income level. The agent just kept showing me stuff without asking what my budget really was. Did anyone else waste time this way before figuring out the right order of things?

Saw a realtor on TikTok say the same thing happened to tons of people.

Did that realtor actually name the lender or settlement company involved?

Yeah exactly, once something blows up on TikTok it feels like everyone and their mom has the same story. Wonder if there's some lawyer or news reporter looking into it for a bigger story?
