My neighbor swore by this $30 vinyl plank cutter from Harbor Freight and I finally caved.
Used it on a 500 sq ft basement job and the cuts were cleaner than my miter saw. Anyone else have a cheap tool that actually holds up?

My buddy swears by the cheap oscillating tool from that same store. The blades are junk but the motor itself has lasted him three years of weekend projects. He's cut everything from drywall to a PVC pipe. lisab32 is right to be shocked, sometimes the gamble pays off. You just have to know which cheap things are built like a tank.
