Had a bride last weekend tear up over a single flower choice
She was dead set on white roses for her bouquet, I kept suggesting garden roses for the soft look she wanted anyway. After the trial she looked at me and said "you were right, these feel more like me." It happened at a little shop in Portland where I work, and her reaction stuck with me more than the flower itself. Makes me wonder how many brides just go with what Pinterest says instead of trusting their florist.

That "Pinterest board not matching reality" thing is spot on. My buddy's fiancée showed him these pictures of burlap centerpieces with mason jars and fairy lights. She had this whole rustic barn wedding vision. They went to look at actual venues and the ones in her budget had stained carpets and flickering fluorescent lights. She was pretty crushed for a few days.
