Snapdragons flopping at 3pm, try the afternoon pinch trick

Last week in my shop I had a whole bucket of snapdragons droop by 3pm after a morning delivery, so I pinched the bottom 2 inches off the stems and recut them under warm water, they perked right back up. Anyone else had luck with this or do you use a different method for transport wilt?

Warm water pinch is my go to, though my stems usually flop from my own neglect.

Warm water does wake them up, but I've found the real trick is pinching right after the node and then letting the cut end air dry for a few minutes before hitting water. Stems flop from overwatering way more than people admit, so I let mine go almost bone dry before I dunk them again. If yours keep drooping, check the soil, it's probably holding more moisture than you think.
