That one client who pushed me to work on a Sunday and it backfired on both of us

I had a client last year who kept texting me on a Saturday night asking for a rush job. They said they needed it by Monday morning no matter what. I caved and worked all Sunday. Come Monday, they said the project got put on hold and didn't need it anymore. Wasted a whole weekend. Has anyone else had a client pull something like this where you bent over backwards for nothing?

Ugh, I had one who made me redo everything twice then ghosted me.

Well maybe they realized your work wasn't up to standard after the second pass. I had a designer who kept sending me files with the wrong dimensions no matter how many times I explained it. Sometimes people ghost because they finally understand you can't do the job and don't want to deal with the awkward conversation.
