Hit $12k in one month freelancing and I'm still not sure it's sustainable

I closed three deals back to back last October and grossed over $12k for the first time. But two of those clients were total one-offs who needed urgent staging photos, so I doubt I'll replicate that pace. Has anyone else hit a random high month that made the slow ones feel worse?

Were any of those one-off clients tough to land? Like did you chase them hard or did they just fall in your lap? Feels like the easy ones never repeat but the ones you fight for at least sometimes come back around. Curious if that's been your experience too.

Oh yeah, $12k is crazy when it's mostly one-off deals. I mean, that's more like a lucky streak than a real monthly rate, idk.
