TIL I was wrong about cold calling for leads

I used to spend hours every morning dialing numbers from old lists, getting maybe one appointment a week. After a broker in Tampa told me to just focus on my neighborhood Facebook group, I got three seller leads in a month by answering questions about local market trends. Oh man, that hits home. I used to dread picking up the phone, my stomach in knots just dialing. Felt like I was bothering people right at dinner time.
