Struggling with whether to team up for big SEO deals or keep it all to myself

I've handled several major SEO campaigns by myself over the past year. On one hand, doing it all alone means I keep all the profit and make every call, but on the other, bringing in another freelancer could speed things up and add fresh ideas. When do you guys decide to partner up instead of flying solo?

That bit about fresh ideas from a partner is so real. I once brought in a friend to help with a big local SEO push, and their "fresh idea" was to try to rank for keywords in a whole other state because they misread the client brief. We had to redo two months of work. Sometimes flying solo means you only have your own mistakes to fix.

Fresh ideas often bring fresh mistakes. Reading the brief wrong like that wastes months of work. Going solo means you only mess up your own stuff.

Honestly @the_tessa, that story hits home. Trying to fix someone else's big mess is way worse than fixing your own. Flying solo means you only have to manage your own blind spots, not coordinate with someone else's. Partners can mean double the problems, not just fresh ideas.

That two-month redo story from Tessa is why my trust issues have trust issues.
