Heard a guy at the coffee shop say he works from his car now

I was grabbing a coffee in Seattle and overheard a freelancer telling his friend he switched to using his parked car as his main office for the past month. He said the quiet and the ability to move spots for a new view helps him focus more than his apartment ever did. Has anyone else tried turning their vehicle into a mobile workspace, and what did you do about power for your laptop?

Saw a whole article about people doing this. They were using portable power banks you can charge at home.

Oh yeah, @wendym82, those articles are totally right! I did the same thing during that last big storm. My power bank kept my phone alive for almost three days, it was awesome.

My power bank died after like six hours, I must have gotten a dud. Still better than nothing though.

Tried that too, @wendym82. My big power bank lasted two days before needing a recharge, which was a lifesaver. Just make sure you get one with enough capacity.
