Vent: That one client who paid me $500 extra because I found their lost wedding ring while cleaning.
It was a random Tuesday in October, and I almost didn't take the vacuum apart. Has anyone else had a weird bonus like that come from just doing your job?

That's fantastic, and @jana509's story about the bracelet is great too. I once found a whole stack of old family photos tucked behind a bookshelf while dusting. The client cried when I handed them over, said they were her late mother's, and she doubled my pay for the day. It feels so good when a normal task turns into something that really matters to someone.

My buddy who cleans offices found a lost wedding ring in a break room sink trap. The owner had given up hope after months, so getting it back was a big deal. Those little recoveries really do make the job feel different sometimes.
