Pushing transactions through PayPal until the freeze period ended worked for me.

That trick with pushing through PayPal is smart but risky if PayPal flags your account. Something nobody's bringing up is how these payment processors actually share data with each other. Had a buddy who used PayPal to force a payment through to a seller who was trying to hold his money hostage, and a month later his Stripe account got hit with extra verification requests. They got flags from some shared fraud database. Might be worth checking if your PayPal account has any hidden limitations after doing that, or if you can even see your transaction history clearly. Sometimes the workaround just creates a bigger problem down the line.
