My old tablet just logged its 5,000th hour of screen-on time.
I was checking the battery stats out of curiosity and that number honestly shocked me, especially since I dropped it in a sink full of water two years ago.

How is that even possible after a water drop? My stuff never lasts that long.

Totally, some things are just lucky like that. My old phone took a swim and was fine, it's wild. Tyler_morgan is right, some stuff is just built different now.
