Found a trick that gets me paid 2 days faster on repeat clients
I was waiting on a $850 payment from a regular gig last month, sitting in a coffee shop in Austin, and I realized if I send the invoice the same day I finish the work instead of waiting until Friday, they pay by Tuesday instead of the next week. Has anyone else tried shifting their send day and noticed a pattern?

Wait, that's actually kind of genius and I feel dumb for not trying it sooner.

Wait, hold on, I must be reading this wrong. You're saying you hadn't tried it before? No way, that thing is basically life changing once you figure it out. I honestly thought everyone had at least given it a shot by now, but I guess not. It's one of those little tricks that seems so obvious after you do it, you know? Like why did it take me so long to just try it? Anyway, glad you finally gave it a go, your mileage may vary but for me it was a total game changer.

Reminds me of when I spent an hour trying to open a can without a can opener before remembering I had one.
