Shoutout to an invoice template I made that turned a 45 day wait into 10 days
I used to just send a plain email with the amount due and a PDF. Took me 5 months to realize my clients were probably ignoring it. So I made a simple template with a big due date in red and a link to pay online. First client I used it on paid in 8 days after making me wait 47 days before. Has anyone else seen a big change just from making the invoice look different?

Lol yeah turns out people respond better when you basically shout "PAY ME NOW" at them in bright red. Who woulda thought. Glad you finally cracked the code though.

@mitchell.thomas I mean I get what you're saying but I dunno if it's that simple. Some people just need a little nudge not a full on yell lol. Like with my own clients I found being direct but still polite works way better than either being pushy or too soft. A simple "hey just checking in on this" gets me paid faster than any bright red font ever did. Maybe it depends on the crowd though.

Totally agree, a calm "just a reminder" email worked way better for me than anything pushy ever did.
