The moving truck that got stuck under a bridge in Brooklyn last Saturday
We spent $800 on a 26-footer, and the driver ignored the GPS warning about a 12-foot clearance, so now I've got to figure out how to get my couch out of a double-parked truck before the cops show up, has anyone else dealt with a moving truck that was way too tall for the route?

That driver must've been me in a past life because I did the exact same thing with a rental truck and a low bridge last summer. @joseph_bailey has the right idea, GPS fails are rough, but this was more of a "I know better than the robot" fail on my part.

You mentioned ignoring the GPS warning about a 12-foot clearance. Did you actually see that warning come up and decide it was wrong, or did the driver just miss it entirely? Because I'm trying to figure out if this was a tech failure or just a bad choice.
