Overheard a guy at a hardware store bragging about his $50 per month CRM

Some dude was telling his friend he spends $50 a month on some pest control CRM. I pay $180 for mine and it crashes on Mondays. Anyone using a cheap CRM that actually works for scheduling?

Got a buddy who runs a small landscaping crew and he swears by this janky free CRM app. He found it on some forum and it does basic scheduling and customer info for like zero bucks. But every time he needs to add a recurring monthly job, the app freaks out and duplicates the entry three times. He spends more time fixing it than actually using it. Guess you really do get what you pay for.

Bet on that free app and double down on the jank. Those cheap CRM problems are actually a blessing in disguise because they force you to get your hands dirty and really learn the data side of your business. Fixing those duplicate entries yourself builds a kind of muscle memory that no fancy, automated system can teach you. Plus, that time spent wrestling with the app is just free job security if you ever want to hire someone to run the office later.
