Just realized the local coffee shop meetup in Phoenix killed my whole pricing strategy
I went to that freelancer gathering at Lola Coffee last month and overheard three people charging double what I do for the same web work. Has anyone else figured out their rates are way off after seeing what locals actually charge?

Three people in one room doesn't really tell you the whole market though. Maybe they were listing higher rates because they include more stuff like unlimited revisions or faster turnaround. I'd check a few more meetups before changing your whole pricing plan.

Yeah the "whole market" thing hit a little close to home since my pricing plan is mostly just vibes and desperation.
