Realized my "final draft" label meant nothing after a client in Seattle asked for 4 more rounds

I sent over what I called the final draft on a website layout for a coffee shop in Seattle and they came back with 4 separate change requests over 2 weeks. Now I add a count of included revisions right in the email subject line like "Draft 1 of 3" and it stops the endless back and forth. Has anyone else had to spell out the exact number of changes to get people to stop?

whoa wait, a coffee shop in Seattle made you do 4 more rounds?? i mean i guess Seattle folks are picky about their coffee branding but that's wild. maybe i'm too nice but i would've stopped answering emails after round 3.

HAHA oh for REAL. I'd probably be on round 2 like "wait did I miss the memo about this being a full time gig now?" But hey, maybe they're paying in free lattes or something. Or NOT, knowing my luck!
