I spent $250 on a detailed contract template from a legal site after getting burned by a logo client last year. He kept asking for 'just one more version' and I did 8 rounds before saying no. The template had a clear 3 revision limit with a $50 fee per extra round. Has anyone else found a pre-made contract that actually stopped the endless tweaks?
I had a client last month who kept asking for 'just one more tweak' on a business card layout. After round five I sent them a mockup with the final revision written in tiny text at the bottom. They signed off that same day. Now I always put a revision count and a deadline in my proposals. Anybody else use a similar trick to lock in client approvals?
