Took me 3 months to finish a logo project that should have been 2 weeks
I kept saying yes to 'just one more tweak' and ended up with 47 revision emails before I finally put my foot down, how do you handle the client who thinks unlimited changes are part of the deal?

47 changes is wild, but you kind of set that boundary when you kept saying yes. Next time put the revision limit right in the contract - 3 rounds of changes, anything after that costs extra per hour. That way when they ask for "just one more thing" you can point to the paper and say "sure, here's my rate." Clients who get unlimited tweaks will always use them, no matter how nice they seem at first. You mentioned putting your foot down after 47 emails, what did you actually say to stop the cycle?

Heard a podcast where a designer said "your lack of boundaries isn't their problem"...

smith.lee said "your lack of boundaries isn't their problem" and that one stung when I read it because it's 100% true about me. I actually told my client "look I think we need to stop for both our sakes" after I realized I had been working on this for 3 months and barely made any money. It was kind of a mess honestly, I just kinda froze up and admitted I couldn't keep doing free revisions because I was losing sleep over it. What finally worked was sending them a final file with a note saying "this is the last version I can include in our original agreement" and then just stopped replying to the email chain. Not my proudest moment but hey, at least I finally said no somewhere around revision 48.
