Remember when I thought 'unlimited revisions' was just fine for 2 years straight?

I had this logo project for a local hot sauce brand back in March. Told them they could ask for changes as many times as they wanted because I was scared of losing the job. After 14 rounds over 6 weeks they asked me to 'make the pepper look happier but also more aggressive.' That's when it clicked. I was basically paying them to work. Has anyone else had that slap-in-the-face moment where you realized you were training clients to walk all over you?

14 revisions on a logo is wild, I had a coffee shop client ask for 9 rounds once. That unlimited policy just trains them to not think before they ask. Learned the hard way that boundaries are cheaper than free labor.

Wait, you actually thought unlimited revisions meant less work?

3 rounds of edits gave me the exact result I wanted with zero stress.
