Why does nobody talk about how much cheaper walking beats therapy for slow season blues?

I compared my usual $120 weekly therapy copay in Chicago to just hitting the lakefront trail for 45 minutes each morning during my dry spell last March. The walking cost me zero dollars and actually made me feel less panicked about the empty calendar. Plus I ran into two other freelancers out there who shared leads, weirdly enough. Has anyone else swapped out a regular expense for something free and seen their mood shift faster?

Right, because nothing says "processing your emotions" like dodging goose poop and eavesdropping on other freelancers' gossip! My wallet and my therapist probably both hate this idea but I'm into it.
